Blazing pops of yellow had sprung out from the leaves. The warm, second summer air hung, gently kissing their skin. Happily, the little pup’s yip carried through the woods, and bubbling laughter spilled out of her mouth. He grabbed her hands and pulled her close. Her heart started beating quickly. The sunbeams danced down on her hair. The rushing river, the cute pups, the changing leaves. It all made Amber and Josh’s fall engagement session at McConnells Mill beautiful.

He saw her across the room, and knew she was it. They laughed, swapped stories, and danced together. He drove from Pittsburgh to Lancaster to come see her, and after that first visit, they would take turns driving back and forth almost every weekend. Fast forward to their fall engagement session at McConnells Mill, butterflies were still fluttering, lightning was still shooting, and still they were looking at each other with magic in their eyes. Except now they also had two little ones with them! Puppies galore!

Dear Amber and Josh-

Thank you for all the laughter, joy, and sweet magic. Thank you for totally letting me into your space, letting your walls down, and for being vulnerable with your love. <3 Your love is magic. It’s felt by everyone it touches. Your fall engagement session at McConnelss Mill was breathtaking, and I absolutely cannot wait till a few months when we get to capture your promise of forever.
